Berlin School for Regenerative Therapies (BSRT)

The Berlin School for Regenerative Therapies (BSRT, graduate school 203 of the German Excellence Initiative) offers interdisciplinary training and research opportunities in the field of Regenerative Medicine for outstanding doctoral researchers with a background in the biological, engineering or clinical disciplines. Young scientists at the BSRT work within a strong and intellectually stimulating network of institutions and scientists.

Graduation - Congratulation Attia Sarwar

Attia Sarwar, who was a BSRT student at the Department of General, Visceral and Vascular Surgery, defended her thesis on 25 July 2024. Her thesis was entitled "Unraveling the Influence of Donor Age on Renal Graft Survival".

Graduation - Congratulation Kieu Nhi Tran Vo

Kieu Nhi Tran Vo, who was a BSRT student at the BIH AG Ute Scholl, defended her thesis on 06 May 2024. Her thesis was entitled "Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell-derived Adrenocortical Cell Model Reveals the Pathophysiology of KCVJ5 Mutation in Primary Aldosteronism".

Isabel Orellano, who was a BSRT student at the BIH Julius Wolff Institute of Biomechanics and Musculoskeletal Regeneration, defended her thesis on 25 April 2024. Her thesis was entitled "Engineering Vascular Self-Assembly by Controlled 3D-printed Cell Placement".
