Admissionto do a doctorate
The BSRT provides the structured education and mentoring programme but cannot award doctoral degrees. This right lies with the universities. So the admission to do a doctorate has to be done separately and before you start with your research project.

The BSRT cooperates with many different scientists, who not only have different scientific backgrounds, but also belong to different faculties of any of Berlin’s universities or the University of Potsdam. You therefore need to clarify with your supervisors at which university under which faculty you want to do the doctoral degree. Please bear in mind that the faculties of these universities have different admission procedures and regulations, which can be found on their respective websites.
