Matthias Kollert, who was a BSRT student at the Julius Wolff Institute, defended his thesis on 26 July 2023. His thesis was entitled "How Osmotic Changes Regulate Tissue Mechanics and Cellular Regenerative Processes".

Katrein Sauer, who was a BSRT student at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Department of Dental Preservation and Preventive Dentistry, defended her thesis on 17 July 2023. Her thesis was entitled "Probing Anosteocytic Fish Bone Structures Using X-Ray Interactions: From the Effects of Radiation Damage to Micro and Nano Analysis".

Jacob Spinnen, who was a BSRT student at the BIH Center for Regenerative Therapies, defended his thesis on 25 June 2023. His thesis was entitled "In vitro pharmacological risk assessment of new therapeutic agents for osteoarthritis on osteochondral tissue cultures – a risk profile of CCL25".

Minh Huong Nguyen, who was a BSRT student at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin (Raum Lab - Imaging, Simulation & Stimulation), defended her thesis on 22 June 2023. Her thesis was entitled "Estimation of thickness and speed of sound in cortical bone using multi-focus pulse-echo ultrasound".
