Translational Science Training
The Translational Science Training addresses questions of how to translate basic research findings into diagnostics, therapies and treatment practices. This module includes courses that explain current clinical practice to life scientists and cover preclinical models that can be used on the path to therapeutic development of regenerative therapies. In addition, this module introduces you to different approaches in the development of advanced and personalised therapies and how these therapeutic approaches are tested during clinical development and how they reach the market.

Organoids: from generation to their wide applications
Module Preclincal Studies
Moving from 2D to 3D cellular systems, we will address in vitro and ex vivo organoid generation techniques discussing their limitations and shedding light on recent advances in the field. We will delve into the wide-ranging applications of organoids in disease modelling, diagnosis and personalized medicine with specific attention to research interest of participants. The course will focus on basic stem cells biology and developmental biology, both important to set the basis for protocol establishment. Attending this course will equip you with theoretical knowledge needed to develop your own organoid protocols and apply it in your research.
