Credits
The BSRT uses a credit system to manage the study programme which is designed analogous to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Each student has to accumulate 180 credits during the three year doctoral programme. 150 credits are given for the work on the doctoral project. 30 credits have to be accumulated through participation in the study programme.

Credits
The credits for each course will be announced in the course description, but as a simple approximation, one course day will earn 0.5 credits. You need to earn a minimum of 30 credits to satisfy the requirements of the BSRT regulations. Below is the list of credits you need to earn in the different modules and an overview which courses belong to which module. If you do courses somewhere else we can count this to your credits. Please contact the BSRT coordination office if you have any further questions regarding the credits.
