Scientific Training
The BSRT offers in-depth education in basic research associated with Regenerative Medicine. Doctoral researchers of the BSRT will gain a substantial understanding of the associated clinical needs and a broad knowledge in cell and molecular biology, bioengineering, biotechnology and biomaterials as well as translational science to advance the translation of basic research into clinical practice.

Advanced Therapies
This course will introduce you to the role of biomaterials, from their use as a research tool to their application in in vivo tissue regeneration. Organoids: from generation to their wide applications
Module Preclincal Studies
Moving from 2D to 3D cellular systems, we will address in vitro and ex vivo organoid generation techniques discussing their limitations and shedding light on recent advances in the field. We will delve into the wide-ranging applications of organoids in disease modelling, diagnosis and personalized medicine with specific attention to research interest of participants. The course will focus on basic stem cells biology and developmental biology, both important to set the basis for protocol establishment. Attending this course will equip you with theoretical knowledge needed to develop your own organoid protocols and apply it in your research.
